Rev. Jen Auger (she/her)
M. Counselling, Diaconal Minister Minister for Families & Youth
Rev. Jen Auger is our Minister for Families and Youth, which means in addition to leading worship and ministering to the wider community, she gets to also play and learn and grow with young people and their families.
Jen lives with her family, including 2 teens and 3 cats, in Grand Valley. She has been in ministry since 2001 serving families in various communities within commuting distance. Jen enjoys “kitchen gardening”, yoga and a little Irish dance as her own self care practices.
Jen loves the passion and energy of the people at HSUC, their willingness to lean into change and growth, and their vulnerability in being authentic with one another. Nurturing a true sense of welcome and celebration of each individual seeking connection and belonging are critical pieces of ministry for Jen.
Please connect with Rev. Jen about worship, community connections, life events and ministry activities for all ages at HSUC.

Pastoral Care
The Pastoral Care Team walks alongside people facing challenges such as illness, grief, or isolation within our church family, at the Heritage River Retirement Residence, and throughout the wider community. Through prayer and caring connection, the team offers support in the form of visits, and phone calls, or by responding to special needs as they arise. Listening with compassion, sharing in both joys and sorrows, offering faith-filled guidance and prayer, and sharing gifts such as prayer shawls or pocket crosses, the team helps ensure each person feels seen, valued, and lovingly cared for.
If you would like to speak to someone from the Pastoral Care Team, or have any questions, feel free to reach out to Alice Williams.
